Active fire protection responds to a fire. It detects it, raises the alarm, and controls or puts it out with water. Aigua designs, installs and commissions each system, and maintains it after handover.

High-Pressure Water Mist
Internationally approved and effective water mist systems.
Water is pumped at high pressure through specially designed nozzles and leaves as a very fine mist. The small droplets absorb heat quickly and turn to steam, cooling the fire and displacing oxygen at the flame.
Why water mist
- Fine droplets absorb heat quickly
- Steam displaces oxygen at the flame
- Uses far less water than a conventional sprinkler system, which limits water damage
Alarm Systems
Intelligent fire detection systems.
Detectors across the building watch for smoke and heat. When one picks up a fire, the control panel sounds the alarm, shows where in the building it came from, and can signal other systems to respond.

Sprinkler Systems
Fire safety for all hazards.
Sprinkler heads sit on a network of pipes kept under pressure. Each head opens on its own when the heat at that spot reaches its rated temperature, so water is released where the fire is, often while it is still small.
